U13s National Schools Singles 2025

The box groups We're all hotly contested, for a water event only the winner goes through to the next stage. 3 of the 4 boxes came down to the last game to decide the winner, so it was great to see how close the matches were and to play under pressure. In the final stage, 2 Moulsford Prep players, Albie Tomlinson & Ben Parkinson, Ryan Wallace from Halying College and Daniel Morgan from Mill Rythe Junior School. In a match that could have gone either way, see sawing until the last game. Saw Daniel go 4-0 up, Ryan to claw back to 4-4, only for Daniel to play an almost perfect game to go 5/4. Ryan dug deep and from nowhere brought it back to 5 all. He then played some of his best returns of the match to secure the game and the title 6/5!
