Harry Foster and Mark Hue-Williams defeated Tim Cockroft and Alex Titchener-Barrett to win the 2009 Amateur doubles by 4 games to 3 yesterday at Queens Club. The World Championship challengers will have done their confidence the world of good ahead of April's Challenge.
The match was played in€a competetive but fair spirit, and was a great treat for all spectators concerned. Tim and Alex will be€dissapointed not to retain€their title but will take heart from a close result against a€pair who have played together many times before.€€
