Harry Foster and Mark Hue Williams defeated Mark Hubbard and Neil Smith at Queen's€to win the Rackets World Doubles€Championship. The amateurs had returned from playing the first leg in NY with a 4-2 lead over the Pros. The game score€finally settled at€3 all, but midway through the 6th game, with Hue Williams and€Foster trailing by 3 games to 2 at that point,€it became impossible for Hubbard and Smith€to win on points,€and the Championship was decided.
