The IRP and what you can do
The IRP is a joint initiative of The Tennis and Rackets Association and Rackets Professionals Association to create over seven new trainee pros in the next five years. It highlights the role of the Professional at the core of the game and below we outline how you can support the very heartbeat of Rackets.
Whether a player, parent or other stakeholder in the game, we all recognise the incredible difference Rackets can make to life. It’s a unique sport whether played at grass roots or an elite level and without doubt one of the most incredible spectator experiences in sport and we’re working hard to widen access to this most special of sports.
These Pros will provide even more of the superb pastoral care and life lessons for future generations of young players; and see current and future players go on to enjoy Rackets across the playing spectrum post school. We all need to take ownership of the game through engagement. We want to see an increased number of Pros in training and we’ve developed a comprehensive training handbook based on the legacy and experience of the amazing Professionals past and present.
We Need Your Support
Through promoting an enhanced culture of giving and guardianship the IRP builds the foundation for the sustainability and growth of Rackets. The IRP needs financial support from the Rackets community and also wants to bring the tight knit Rackets community even closer together, raising awareness of what we can all do for Rackets.
We very much hope you will support this exciting and necessary initiative. There are many worthy charities, many you will already support, but this is a unique opportunity and has a limited target audience. So please do be a part of it - you make the difference. We Invite You to Join the Fifteen Love Club
From giving as little as £15 a month you become a Guardian of the Game as part of the Fifteen Love Club a “hundred club” providing income. See your name on the Honours Board, and have the chance to win exciting prizes including racquets and limited edition Fifteen Love merchandise on a monthly basis; as well as early access to ticketing and other exclusive rewards.
