Richard Compton-Burnett to Take Over as T&RA Chairman
The T&RA Board has unanimously approved the appointment of Richard Compton-Burnett as the next chairman, subject to member approval in November 2024, when Fred Satow’s term of office expires on 27 November.

I am writing to let you know that the T&RA Board has unanimously approved the appointment of Richard Compton-Burnett as the next Chairman. This appointment is subject to member approval at the AGM in November 2024 and will take effect when my term of office expires at the end of that month.
Richard has had a successful career as an entrepreneur in both the technology and healthcare sectors. He has been a T&RA Trustee for more than a year and has already made a significant contribution.
Richard played cricket and football for Cambridge and is also a high quality Tennis player. He is actively involved in both games as a player and has a son and a daughter who have both enjoyed success at a national level in Tennis and/or Rackets.
I am sure he will do an excellent job and I send him my best wishes for that role.
