Juniors Welcomed Onto Real Tennis Courts for Free This Summer Holiday Break

Update Jul 16, 2024
Published Jul 09, 2024

Sitting on the beach is fun, but so is trying out Real Tennis! That’s why the T&RA, in conjunction with the Dedanists’ Foundation, is pleased to announce the continuation of a holiday scheme that encourages juniors to take up the game of Real Tennis over the upcoming summer break.

Both the T&RA and the Dedanists’ Foundation are committed to introducing juniors to Real Tennis, knowing that the long-term survival of our game relies on young people discovering the sport. In order to encourage more youth take-up, we’re offering newcomers between the ages of 10 and 18 a free, one hour “have a go” session at the nearest Real Tennis club signed up to take part.

There is a restriction on the number of free lessons we can provide so these sessions will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

If you have a youngster who is looking for something interesting to do over the Summer, complete the form below and we will give you the contact details for your nearest participating club.

Please sign up by August 20th 2024.

The Dedanists’ Foundation is a grant-giving charity (No. 1145526) created with the sole aim of increasing youth involvement in Real Tennis. The game has too few young players and the organisation’s aim is to get young people impassioned about the sport and to harness the enthusiasm, knowledge and skills of the game’s professionals and its clubs. To learn more about the fantastic work that the Dedanists’ Foundation is doing, visit their official website.

If you require any further information please contact the T&RA at office@tennisandrackets.com or the Dedanists’ Foundation Ambassador, Paul Weaver, at pweaver@btopenworld.com.
