Director of Court Development
After almost ten years as Treasurer of the T&RA, Richard Dalzell has agreed to take on a new role as Director of Court Development.
This will involve seeking out appropriate locations for new Rackets and Tennis courts at schools, universities and clubs within the UK. Then, where realistic potential has been identified, providing encouragement, advice and support from the T&RA in terms of design and construction, planning and finance, as well as helping in the production of applications to the relevant authorities if and when required.
The role will also involve producing case studies for all Rackets and Tennis courts developed within the past 25 years, with notes of problems encountered and solutions found, together with lessons learned and advice for those considering new projects.
