British Open 2025 Dates Announced; Women's Event to Run Concurrently with Men’s for First Time
The 2025 British Open Real Tennis Championships will include double the tennis and double the fun. For the first time ever, the event will feature dedicated women’s singles and doubles draws alongside the open draws.
The T&RA and LRTA are pleased to confirm that The Sir John Ritblat British Open 2025 will include the Women’s British Open at The Queen’s Club, in November 2025.
The Open will take place from 16-25 November with the Women’s Open taking place from 19–23 November. Alistair Lumsden continues as the Tournament Director for all events.
The Open will be run in exactly the same format as before, with a 24-player draw (4 qualifiers) for the singles and a 12-pair draw (2 qualifiers) for the doubles. The Women’s Open will feature 8 singles players (2 qualifiers) and 4 doubles pairs (1 qualifier).
The Open finals will be held on Monday 24th November (singles) and Tuesday 25th November (doubles), starting at 6pm. The Women’s finals will be held on Saturday 22nd November (singles) and Sunday 23rd November (doubles), starting at 6.45pm.
Both the Australian and French Opens already combine the open and women’s draws, which leaves just the US Open as the sole major Real Tennis Open not to feature both concurrently.
