ENTRIES ARE OPEN!

We are expecting a big turnout this year and encourage all players of any gender or ability to enter this prestigious and fun event. This year the tournament has, very kindly, been sponsored by the leading force of amateur sport in the country, The Jesters Club.

As a result, they have kindly offered to supply communal racquets for participants to use, should they wish, and also subsidise entry fees for those players lucky enough to still be under 30!

In addition, they will kindly host a drinks reception on Saturday evening, though the supplies are not infinite, and we really hope this to be as much fun off the court as it will be on the court. After this we will organise a dinner for all participants and their guests should they wish to come.

Final format is to be confirmed but we will definitely be playing a group stage competition going through to a knock out to crown the eventual winners. Grays have very kindly offered two racquets as a prize for the winners, in addition to the usual trinkets, so some good incentive to do well!

Entry form link is below (link to online form) so get the date in the diary and find a partner to enter with. If you don’t have a partner, no problem, we can find one for you.

You will be expected to be available for at least one of the evenings of 20th or 21st February and must be available on Saturday for play and knock out stages. If we have time, a plate may be arranged as well. Obviously some time restraints may be accommodated but really hoping people can make themselves available. As it stands Finals will be on Sunday (semis may be too, but depends of size of draw.
