Four year closure notice to be recommended by the University Executive. MURTC to appeal.
The T&RA reports with great disappointment that, following MURTC’s negotiations with the University to extend the current Management Agreement, the Executive body of the University have advised MURTC it can no longer support Real Tennis on the campus. Under the current Management Agreement with the University, four years notice of closure will be provided, which is likely to be ratified in January after the University’s Executive has made its proposal to the governing body.
MURTC, supported by the T&RA, intends to appeal the Executive’s decision to the governing body.
