Former Racquet Club now an hotel and restaurant
Oli 'Chopper' Harris stumbled across this beautiful building in Liverpool, the former home of the Liverpool Racquet Club. When built it housed two rackets courts and sundry other sports facilities and looks very similar to the North American/Manchester model of 19th Century gentlemen's clubs in major provincial towns.
If anyone is passing through Liverpool please send us some photographs and/or try to ascertain if there is any remaining evidence of the courts. It looks well worth a visit. The club gets a passing mention or two in Aberdare.
